The Fondation Groupe Forget is thrilled to be offering its scholarships for a second year. This year, three $1,500 scholarships were awarded, to Patrice Caron, a student at the Cégep de La Pocatière, and to Anissa Zaidi and Youssef Darif from the Collège de Rosemont.

Launched in the fall of 2019, the scholarship program was created to encourage post-secondary studies in audioprosthetics and audiology and to highlight deserving students, based both on the quality of their academic record and their motivation to practice in this field.

Scholarship program for students in audioprosthetics

The Fondation Groupe Forget is proud to have created a scholarship program to provide financial aid to students in the field of audioprosthetics, making it easier for them to acquire this specialized knowledge. Besides the three scholarships awarded to students in audioprosthetics, two additional grants were given to students in audiology at the Université de Montréal and the Université Laval. Each recipient will also be offered a paid summer job at a Polyclinique de l’oreille to give them the opportunity to become familiar with the work of an audiologist or audioprosthetist.
