Quebec, August 17th 2015 –  Fondation Groupe Forget is pleased to donate complete audiology evaluations to the Centre de pédiatrie sociale de Québec, and this with very  short waiting time.  The children attending this center sometimes suffer from learning disabilities which may be related to hearing loss.

«The development of children who benefit from these services is compromised by multiple factors.  This quick and free access, which parents could not otherwise have hoped for, is beneficial.  I am grateful to La Fondation Groupe Forget for its active contribution in the care of our children, so that they may develop to their full potential!», says Dr. Marie-Camille Duquette, pediatrician, President and CEO of the Centre de pédiatrie sociale de Québec.

“We are very pleased to offer this service to children. Good hearing is essential for the integration and development of every child”,  says Joanie Gagné, Director of Fondation Groupe Forget.

Fondation Groupe Forget is a non profit organization.  Its mission is to improve the life conditions of those affected by hearing loss and to increase public awareness to the daily impacts of such a loss.

The mission of the Centre de pédiatrie sociale de Québec is to support children and families in vulnerable situations to ensure the well-being and optimal development of children, with respect for their rights and interests.
