In 2020, Fondation Groupe Forget was pleased to award four $3,000 scholarships to students in the hearing aid practice program at the Collège de Rosemont and the Cégep de La Pocatière.
Begun in fall 2019, this new scholarship program aims to encourage studies in the hearing aid practice. The goal is to emphasize the excellence of deserving students by rewarding them for the quality of their academic file and their motivation to practice as an audioprosthetist.
Scholarship program for hearing aid practice students
To provide financial assistance to students studying to enter the hearing aid practice, Fondation Groupe Forget was proud to start a scholarship program to help them acquire this knowledge. Two scholarships were given to students in the audioprosthesis program at the Collège Rosemont in February, and two others were awarded in late March 2020 to students in the program at the Collège de La Pocatière. Each recipient was also offered a paid summer job in one of our or our partners’ clinics (Groupe Forget), to get hands-on experience in the profession.
