On August 30, the Fondation Groupe Forget granted a $3,000 scholarship to Geneviève Gagné, in the third edition of the REA scholarships.
As of 2021, the grant is given yearly thanks to support from several generous partners. A total of $45,000 was awarded to students with disabilities, divided into 15 scholarships of $3,000 each
The recipients were honoured for winning and praised for the perseverance and determination they have shown throughout their academic and rehabilitation journeys.

Geneviève Gagné is studying in Occupational Therapy program in Université de Montréal.

The Fondation Groupe Forget scholarship
This scholarship is intended for students with a hearing impairment. Recipients of the Fondation Groupe Forget scholarship can also receive assistance to obtain cutting-edge hearing aids or assistive listening devices to improve their academic integration.
