After earning a diploma in hearing aid practice from the Collège de Rosemont in 2014, Ms. Tremblay worked in her profession at the Groupe Forget location in Saguenay–Lac-St-Jean for several years. She then followed a program in event organization, another field she loves. She has organized events for Quebec’s order of audioprosthetists (OAQ) since 2018 and went back to providing audioprosthetic services at Groupe Forget in the fall of 2019, this time in Montréal.
Tremblay’s enthusiasm and involvement in her profession combined with her education and experience will be significant assets in her work to lead the activities of FONDATION GROUPE FORGET, in fulfillment of its mission.
Marie-Frédérique said, “I am thrilled to take on this new challenge. My goal is to spread the influence of the foundation through the entire province!”
The board members would like to take this opportunity to thank Johanne Monfette, who served as director of FONDATION GROUPE FORGET the past two years. Throughout her mandate, she brought passion and commitment to the cause of assisting people with hearing impairment in Quebec. “Ms. Monfette was an amazing colleague, and now she’s ready to spend more time with her family. We all wish her a wonderful retirement full of passion and pleasant surprises.”
Marie-Frédérique Tremblay began in her new position at the foundation on August 27, 2019.
