The Fondation Groupe Forget is thrilled to be offering its scholarships for a second year. This year, three $1,500 scholarships were awarded, to <\/strong>Patrice Caron, a student at the C\u00e9gep de La Pocati\u00e8re, and to Anissa Zaidi and Youssef Darif from the Coll\u00e8ge de Rosemont.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Launched in the fall of 2019, the scholarship program was created to encourage post-secondary studies in audioprosthetics and audiology and to highlight deserving students, based both on the quality of their academic record and their motivation to practice in this field.<\/p>\n

Scholarship program for students in audioprosthetics<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

The Fondation Groupe Forget is proud to have created a scholarship program to provide financial aid to students in the field of audioprosthetics, making it easier for them to acquire this specialized knowledge. Besides the three scholarships awarded to students in audioprosthetics, two additional grants were given to students in audiology at the Universit\u00e9 de Montr\u00e9al and the Universit\u00e9 Laval. Each recipient will also be offered a paid summer job at a Polyclinique de l\u2019oreille <\/em>to give them the opportunity to become familiar with the work of an audiologist or audioprosthetist.<\/p>\n

About the Fondation Groupe Forget<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

Founded in 2008, the Fondation Groupe Forget is a non-profit organization whose mission is to improve living conditions for people with hearing loss by providing donations and educating the public. As part of its mission, the Fondation is also committed to contributing to the education of students in the field of hearing health.<\/p>\n
