Children attending this center sometimes suffer from learning backwardness that may be caused by a hearing loss.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0Our most vulnerable children need a fast access to screening services, diagnosis and follow-up in audiology in order to correct problems that affect their development. I am grateful to the Groupe Forget Foundation for its active contribution to the care of our children so they may grow healthy! What an extraordinary initiative!\u00a0\u00bb, said Dr Anne Marie Bureau, physician at the Centre de p\u00e9diatrie sociale de Gatineau.<\/p>\n<p>\u00abHearing is a precious sense that is essential to the social integration of children, this is the reason why we wanted to be involved with the pediatric center,\u00bb stated Mrs. Elyse Proulx, Director of the Groupe Forget Foundation.<\/p>\n<p>The Groupe Forget Foundation is a non profit organization.
