For the first time, the Fondation Groupe Forget is proud to announce it has granted two $1,500 scholarships to students in audiology. Congratulations to Maryline Trépanier from the Université de Montréal and Loonan Chauvette from the Université Laval.

Launched in the fall of 2019, the scholarship program was created to encourage post-secondary studies in audioprosthetics and audiology and to highlight deserving students, based both on the quality of their academic record and their motivation to practice in this field.

Scholarship program for students in audiology

The Fondation Groupe Forget is proud to have created a scholarship program to provide financial aid to students in the field of audiology, making it easier for them to acquire this specialized knowledge.

Besides the two scholarships awarded to students in audiology, three additional grants were given to students in audioprosthetics at the Collège Rosemont and the Cégep de La Pocatière. Each recipient will also be offered a paid summer job at a Polycliniques de l’oreille to give them the opportunity to become familiar with the work of an audiologist or audioprosthetist.
